TouchSuite CEO Sam Zietz Announced as One of EY Entrepreneur of The Year® 2015 Finalists for Florida
Boca Raton, Florida (PRWEB) May 27, 2015 -- EY has announced that Sam Zietz, CEO of leading U.S. financial technology company, TouchSuite, has been named as a finalist in its prestigious Entrepreneur Of The Year 2015 Awards for Florida. The award program recognizes high-growth entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Award recipients will be announced at a black-tie gala event on Thursday, June 11 at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate.
“Entrepreneurism is what built this country and what continues to provide our competitive advantage over the rest of the world," said Zietz. "For an organization as prestigious as EY to name me as a finalist is both humbling and validating. This recognition is a direct result of the amazing people and culture we have at TouchSuite.”
“These finalists were selected from more than 70 nominations by a panel of independent judges,” says Greg Rosica, EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Florida program partner. “We are very proud to recognize such a successful group of entrepreneurs.”
Zietz has been recognized on many levels for his professional success and dedication to entrepreneurism. In 2014, Zietz was named one of South Florida's Ultimate CEO's by the South Florida Business Journal, an honor given to only ten executives annually. Through Zietz’s leadership, TouchSuite has been the recipient of numerous awards and accolades, including six appearances on Inc. Magazine’s “Inc. 500” list of the fastest growing private companies in America. TouchSuite was named the fastest growing privately held company in South Florida in 2014, as well as the fastest growing technology company in the entire state, by the Business Journals of Florida. The company was also presented with the Governor's Business Ambassador award last year during a press conference with Governor Scott at its headquarters that centered on TouchSuite’s growth and significant contributions to Florida’s economy.
Zietz sits on the board of several educational and entrepreneur-focused organizations, including the Palm Beach chapter of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and is a member of the Orange Bowl Committee. He speaks regularly at professional events and at universities and most recently, gave a TEDx talk on achieving success on the entrepreneurial path. He is also an active angel investor with a number of investments under management.
