HOMELAND Hits Berlin with Morrison & Foerster
Berlin (PRWEB) May 26, 2015 -- Morrison & Foerster LLP is advising Hollywood studio Twentieth Century Fox with regard to the production of the fifth season of the award-winning U.S. television series, “Homeland” in Germany.
Homeland is the first major U.S. television series to choose Germany as a location, and it will be shot at Studio Babelsberg, as well as in and around Berlin.
“This shows that the announcement of Minister for the Economy Sigmar Gabriel in February 2015, whereby an incentive program for the film industry would be implemented this year which shall also support high-quality series formats, is beginning to bear fruit,” says Christiane Stuetzle, head of the German film practice at Morrison & Foerster.
The Morrison & Foerster team, led by Stuetzle, is advising Twentieth Century Fox on financing, the corporate aspects of the deal, transactions, and production.
The German film law practice of Morrison & Foerster advises several media and production companies in all fields on matters ranging from structuring and financing to the production and distribution of films and television series.
