Justin Kukowski Center Changes Name to Cashman Center
Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) May 29, 2015 -- Justin Kukowski Center is pleased to announce their new name, Cashman Center, as of May 15, 2015. This change is part of a larger rebranding effort emphasizing the center’s commitment to providing integrated therapies and coordinated care that address the mind body connection and their impact on one another.
The Cashman Center offers mental health counseling for individuals, couples, families, children and groups, while also providing other complementary services not commonly offered under the same roof—such as medication management, nutrition counseling, acupuncture, massage, healing touch, and yoga.
Cashman Center’s new name, identity and website reflect its recent expansion of services and staff, intended to meet growing public demand for integrative healthcare and personal wellness services. “We designed the client experience to create a sense of warmth and welcoming the moment they walk through our doors,” states Cashman. “We intentionally added touches like comfortable couches and a fireplace help clients feel immediately at ease.”
The new logo’s organic heart-like logo shape visually reinforces the center's mission: “Inspire Hope. Treat with Integrity. Embrace Health.” Cashman adds that several new programs will be added and announced later in 2015. “Cashman Center aims to become a regional leader serving the community by offering a different approach to personal wellness, honoring the importance of treating both mind and body as one.”

About Cashman Center:
The Cashman Center, originally named Justin Kukowski Center, was founded in 2007 by Dr. Robyn Swenson David. During the course of her own cancer treatment, she befriended Justin Kukowski, a fun-loving 27-year old Burnsville native who battled brain cancer for two years. Kukowski’s parents sought complementary healthcare services and support, but at the time they were unable to find them. Upon recovering from her cancer, Dr. Swenson opened the center with the support of Kukowski’s parents, serving the growing public demand for complementary care for cancer patients like Justin.
Kathryn Cashman took over the center’s ownership in 2013, and extended the center’s services offerings beyond complementary cancer care, in order to serve the wider community. In 2014, the center expanded to its new Burnsville location. Cashman Center was renamed in May 2015 to reflect the growth and expansion of integrative therapies beyond cancer care.
