Andrews Osborne Academy to Break Ground on Million Dollar Renovation
Willoughby, Ohio (PRWEB) May 27, 2015 -- Andrews Osborne Academy will hold a ground breaking ceremony on June 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., on a major capital improvement project that will be completed this summer. The campus-wide project will include the renovation of The Lee Building to include an all-encompassing Student Center with a senior lounge, additional student lounge areas, computer desk stations, a dedicated space for an art gallery, a student café and a new and improved spirit shop. All bathrooms and kitchens in the four brick dormitories will be completely renovated as well. To ensure that AOA’s science program is world-class, a new Middle School science laboratory will be built in The Van Gorder building. All construction projects are scheduled to be completed in time for the start of the 15/16 school year in September.
On the heels of opening the Indoor Athletic Center this past fall, Head of School Larry Goodman says, “This is an exciting time to be a part of the AOA community. We have so many reasons to celebrate. Current and future students will benefit greatly from the renovations we are undertaking today. As we write the next chapter in AOA’s history we focus on what matters most – remaining faithful to our core mission, and ensuring that our facilities and academic excellence are our top priorities.”
