Now, more than ever, it is important that physician and executive practice leaders are able to work synergistically to recognize and adapt to the coming (practice environment) change.

The Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) is making it easier for physicians from member radiology practices to access the same leading applied business information and intelligence it offers radiology practice managers and administrators. Through the RBMA’s “Practice Leadership Team” membership bundle, RBMA primary (ACT) members in good standing with the Association can add up to two physicians to their membership for free in 2015. The three memberships will renew in 2016 for a discounted rate of $685.

Extending membership to physicians is important to the RBMA because today’s radiology business environment is transforming and physicians will need a stronger understanding of the business side of delivering radiology services to patients in order to adapt and thrive.

“Today’s practice environment is changing rapidly,” explained Mike Bohl, FRBMA, CEO of Radiology Group, PC, SC, in Davenport, Iowa. “Now, more than ever, it is important that physician and executive practice leaders are able to work synergistically to recognize and adapt to the coming change. Often this means radiologists need access to information concerning the business and operational sides of their practice. The RBMA’s Practice Leadership Team Bundle is a cost-effective way to deliver critical business-related information to radiologists, thereby supporting the practice-wide synergy necessary to succeed in the future.”

Physician members will receive all of their benefits electronically. These include:

  • Networking resources such as access to the RBMA’s online member directory, listserv forums and Gateway program
  • Education resources such as seminars, conferences and continuing education programs
  • Informational resources such as the “Washington Insider” and “RadCast” weekly email newsletters, the RBMA “e-Alerts” on fast moving congressional and legislative activities, the bi-monthly digital RBMA Bulletin magazine, plus RBMA exclusive data, surveys and more.

RBMA members who wish to add more than two physicians can purchase additional physician memberships within the team for $310 annually, prorated at the ¼ year, ½ year and ¾ year mark. There is an initial one-time $50 enrollment charge.

The Practice Leadership Team offer is limited to one per practice and does not apply to physicians who are already members of RBMA. Non-physicians who would like to join RBMA for the first time in 2015 qualify for a $100 coupon that can be applied towards any RBMA meeting registration or product.
