Korean-based KM Tech chooses FileCatalyst Direct as their accelerated file transfer solution
Ottawa, Canada (PRWEB) May 28, 2015 -- Unlimi-Tech Software, Inc., creator of FileCatalyst, today announces that KM Tech has chosen FileCatalyst Direct for their accelerated file transfer needs.
KM Tech, a media processing company based out of Korea, receives media sources from their clients to process, manipulate, and edit, then sends the files back to the client after completion. KM Tech started creating their own Media Asset Management (MAM) as their client base increased. The implementation of FileCatalyst Direct, a solution that enables point-to-point accelerated file transfers, allows KM Tech’s clients to upload their files directly from their website, and the MAM starts preprocessing the jobs after they receive all files from the client. Once the editing and processing is complete, FileCatalyst is once again used to send the files back to the client at accelerated speeds of up to 10Gbps, regardless of file size or location.
“So far we have had a very positive experience with FileCatalyst,” said Sangeun Kim at KM Tech. “Our customers find the software very easy to use and we are happy to offer a secure and reliable solution for them to send and receive files.”
“We are excited that KM Tech has chosen FileCatalyst DIrect,” said Elton Carneiro, Indirect Channel Manager at Unlimi-Tech Software, “FileCatalyst is expanding into the Asian market, and we look forward to supporting the growth of KM Tech.”
