AIS Medicare-Medicaid Database Reports Significant Enrollment Gains in Michigan, Texas Duals Demos
Washington, DC (PRWEB) May 28, 2015 -- Atlantic Information Services, Inc.’s (AIS) Medicare-Medicaid Dual Eligibles Database has found significant enrollment gains in the Michigan and Texas CMS duals demos, following continued rollout of passive enrollment initiatives. Those states now count 9,369 members and 27,616 members, respectively, in dual-eligible demonstrations. This information can be found in Medicare-Medicaid Dual Eligibles Database’s May 2015 Monthly Enrollment Tracker, which provides current enrollment for every dual-eligible plan—including CMS demonstrations, D-SNPs and PACE plans—on a month-over-month basis, to help stakeholders determine what’s working and who’s winning. This spreadsheet is one of several valuable resources available to Medicare-Medicaid Dual Eligibles Database subscribers.
In addition, AIS’s new online subscription database also updated Washington’s fee-for-service demo, the Washington Health Home Program, to include the six health homes selected by the state to coordinate care for 15,639 duals. Overall, duals plans have a net increase of 48,923 new members since April, and 318,354 new members since January.
But that doesn't mean all plans are gaining. According to the database, six states lost a net total of 2,824 duals, and nine states have lost a total of 43,856 duals members since the beginning of the year.
More than just a convenient, current and comprehensive online database, the Medicare-Medicaid Dual Eligibles Database boasts original news coverage by experienced AIS reporters with a thorough understanding of the stakes involved for health plans seeking to enter this market. Recent coverage includes detailed reports from AIS’s April virtual conference on dual-eligible initiatives and first-quarter earnings reports of companies investing in the duals market.
