Dr. Allen Huang Welcomes New Las Vegas, NV Patients with Receding Gums for the Minimally Invasive Chao Pinhole® Surgical Technique
Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) May 27, 2015 -- Patients with receding gums in Las Vegas, NV are now invited to visit Dr. Allen Huang’s practice, Significance Dental Specialists, and receive the Chao Pinhole® Surgical Technique without having a referral. This simple yet revolutionary procedure reduces the pain and recovery time often associated with gum recession treatment. Patients who receive this technique experience very little bleeding and have a lower risk of developing complications associated with their gum disease treatment procedure.
It is estimated that nearly 75 percent of the population suffers from some degree of periodontal disease. In many cases, prompt treatment can help patients avoid long-term symptoms. However, when the disease is left to progress for a period of time, it can lead to uncomfortable and unattractive side effects, including receding gums. Patients with receding gums in Las Vegas, NV, typically deal with ongoing pain and intolerance to hot or cold foods. Although gum recession can be caused by a variety of factors, including hormonal changes, aggressive brushing and genetics, periodontal disease is one of the most common causes of the condition.
When the gums wear away, they start to expose large portions of the teeth to air, water and food. This exposure can lead to tooth sensitivity and can cause one or more teeth to become loose and eventually fall completely out of the mouth. Additional problems linked to periodontal disease include heart disease, premature babies, and stroke. Due to its negative effect on the entire body, gum disease should be treated at the first sign of symptoms. In addition to receding gums, periodontal disease can also be recognized by symptoms of bad breath and bleeding during brushing. The Chao Pinhole Surgical Technique is an ideal treatment option for gum recession because it is a gentle procedure that yields immediate results.
During the Chao Pinhole Surgical Technique, Dr. Huang locates the receded area and then makes a pinprick hole directly above it. He then inserts very small tools into the hole that are designed to loosen the gum tissue and gently manipulate it downward or upward over the tooth surface. The simple and effective technique does not involve a single scalpel or stitch. Dr. Huang invites all patients with receding gums in Las Vegas, NV, to visit his practice and find out more about this revolutionary gum recession treatment option.
