NetBoss Technologies, Inc. Selected by PALTEL for Innovative OSS Transformation Project

PALTEL selected NetBoss Technologies as its partner for this strategic project following a competitive bidding process. Building around its core NetBoss XT platform, NetBoss Technologies will deliver a fully integrated solution including correlated fault, performance, trouble, change, inventory, SLA, and environmental management systems. NetBoss XT will automatically discover and model the network, and through interfaces with PALTEL’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, will enable affected services and customers to be instantly highlighted when network issues are encountered. Supported by the supplied trouble ticketing system, PALTEL Network Operations and Customer Care staff will be able to rapidly respond to events with network restoration and proactive customer interaction activities. Also supported by performance management and environmental monitoring systems, the OSS Transformation project system will provide real time end-to-end visibility of PALTEL’s network, services, and customers. The NetBoss Executive Dashboard will provide summary KPI, Service Impact, and SLA information to managers and executives in an interactive and mobile format, and similar KPI/SLA information can be provided to PALTEL’s enterprise customers via a web portal.
