Doctors Discover a Cure for the Common Core
San Diego, California (PRWEB) May 29, 2015 -- A group of doctors have discovered “The Cure for the Common Core” and have joined the national effort to teach this “new math” to children in early childhood education.
Many parents in the U.S. have been “sickened” by the recent implementation of Common Core Math in classrooms across the country. However, love it or hate it, Common Core is now a reality in children’s classrooms in 44 states and the District of Columbia. Parents are now seeking ways to improve common core math training for their kids.
A group of California-based physicians have created an easy to learn and understand video tutoring program that teaches parents Common Core Math terms and procedures in a language they can easily understand and teach to their kids. This tutorial is designed to be a reference that parents can use up to 5 years from K through 4th grade. The goal is to have kids once again top the world in math and science.
The US has embraced a standardized focus on math concepts, which defines a Common Core math curriculum as an important component to reverse the nation’s mediocre academic performance and return the US to leader status on the global stage of math and science. Parents are caught in the middle because their involvement is also key to a successful academic turn around, but many parents simply do not understand the language and procedures of Common Core.
These doctors have created a video library of more than 60 Common Core terms and procedures with which they feel parents and their children are having the most trouble. “Let’s say you want to know what Partial Product Multiplication means. Simply play the appropriate DVD and the term is not only defined but we show you what the phrase means with simple video examples and explanations,” says Dr. Jackson, one of the creators of the Common Core Math Tutorial Program.
This unique program, Common Core Math Video Tutor for Parents and Kids, gives parents a ready to use tool to re-establish parental control over their child’s homework assignments. Presented by The Self Learning Network, the program is now available on DVD. For more information about Breakfast Math or “Common Core Video Tutor for Parents and Kids,” go to BreakfastMath.com.
