Maintenance Connection Certified on Windows 10
(PRWEB) May 28, 2015 -- In anticipation of Microsoft’s summer release of Windows 10, Maintenance Connection has just completed extensive testing of its computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) on the new platform. Windows 10 will have two browsers available for users, both Internet Explorer 11 and the new Microsoft Edge. Maintenance Connection carefully conducted its analysis of their soon to be released MC Version 7.0 in Windows 10, on test machines equipped with the Microsoft Edge browser, and concluded that the CMMS performs smoothly using the operating system. “We’re happy to report that the Microsoft Edge browser works with MC v7.0 and there were no errors reported in the Microsoft Edge tools console window”, said Chris Bucher, responsible for the technological direction of the company. Similarly, users who will be operating on Windows 10 with Internet Explorer 11 will be able to seamlessly use Maintenance Connection v7.0, and will be able to use v6.0 in compatibility mode.
The upcoming release of Windows 10 will fall closely on the heels of Maintenance Connection’s own versatile and feature-rich version update, MC v7.0, which is set to be released for On Premise customers in late June and is already being offered to Cloud-hosted customers. The rapidly growing CMMS software company is eagerly looking forward to delivering the updated and extensively beta customer-tested functionality to its entire customer base this summer. New highlights will include features like multi-language functionality, enhanced navigation and menu options, and improved document and image management, just to name a few.
