The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) has put together a stellar lineup to create the best West meets East experience for the 2nd Annual Guam Live International Music Festival slated for June 5-6. The two-day event will feature pop, rock, hip-hop, reggae, and island music performed by artists from around the globe.

Performing at Paseo Stadium, multi-talented five-time Grammy winner Cee-Lo Green will co-headline this year’s Guam Live. A successful singer, songwriter, producer, entrepreneur, pop culture icon and self-styled “lady killer”, Cee-Lo Green’s resumé also includes four seasons as a coach on NBC’s hit, The Voice.

Genre-blending Los Angeles native Tinashe will also perform. Her unique sound brings together her childhood influences of LA’s R&B, hip-hop, pop, rock, and electronica with her father’s Zimbabwean Shona heritage. Her debut studio album Aquarius features the single “2 On” featuring ScHoolboy Q.

Common Kings will bring their wildly popular island sound to the Guam Live stage. YouTube megastars with independently produced hits; Common Kings has also performed sold-out shows in LA, Hawaii, Australia and Tokyo during their impressive two-year-young career.

With West and East roots, Far East Movement honors their Korea town, LA community, and culture with their music and high-energy performances. Before their first album dropped, FM took the LA club scene vibe global, building a strong international fan base. Subsequent singles have topped the charts.

Multi-platinum artist Jay Park fronted South Korean boy band 2PM and is currently a member of Seattle-based b-boy crew, Art of Movement (AOM). This talented singer, dancer and songwriter’s 2010 YouTube cover of B.o.B.’s “Nothin’ on You” had over 2 million views in its first 24 hours.

Bringing more Asian flair to this year’s lineup are Japanese vocal and dance trio w-inds and hip-hop trio HOME MADE KAZOKU. Originally street performers, w-inds released their first single in 2001. Since then, they have scored more than 30 Oricon top 10 hits and performed more than 480 tours throughout Asia. Returning to Guam Live for the second year, HOME MADE KAZOKU rose to fame in 2004 as Japan’s best upcoming artist. As well as having their hit “Thank You!” featured as an ending theme for the popular anime series BLEACH, HOME MADE KAZOKU has performed in North and South America.

Guam is the perfect place for entertainment tourism and with the 2015 Guam Live lineup’s blend of local and international acts, GVB has brought together something for everyone. According to GVB General Manager Nathan Denight, “Music unites people from all walks of life and what better way to do it than on our island paradise.” He encourages everyone to get their Festival passes in advance.
