New Lifestyle Community Huntington Village Breaks Ground
Ormond Beach, FL (PRWEB) May 29, 2015 -- Top city and county officials were among the more than 120 guests and dignitaries for the official groundbreaking and ribbon cutting for Huntington Village, a new suburban neighborhood in East Central Florida.
Huntington Village will feature 327 single-family homes and villas, with abundant social activities, indoor and outdoor recreation, maintenance-free living, personal privacy and independence. The new community is located just west of Interstate 95 in Ormond Beach.
The center of activity will be The Club at Huntington, a luxurious 12,500 square-foot activities and event center with a full-time Club Manager. Inside the Club, residents will enjoy a billiard room, a gym-yoga facility, craft room, card room and private library. Additionally, a 3000-square-foot “great room” will be available for private parties and special events. Outside features will include a lavish pool for relaxation, swimming laps or water aerobics, six pickle ball courts, two bocce ball courts and a fire pit.
The Club construction will begin in the third quarter of 2015, and groundbreaking for villa construction is targeted to commence in the first quarter of 2016.
Central Florida-based developer Howard Lefkowitz is overseeing the development of the multi-stage project. Mr. Lefkowitz possesses more than 40 years of experience, enabling him to expertly manage every aspect of the property’s development. He is the CEO and founder of Leeds Holdings Southeast Inc., one of the most successful developers of residential and mixed-use communities in Central Florida.
Lefkowitz says Huntington Village will be a popular destination for Volusia/Flagler County residents, as well as out-of-towners looking to relocate. “In addition to the maintenance-free lifestyle, the community will also offer an array of amenities catered to residents seeking social opportunities while still maintaining privacy; and the area’s best shopping, beaches, natural parks and the Central Florida tourist core are all within easy driving distance,” he said.
Huntington Village was founded and created by international developer British American Development Corporation (BADC), a leader in delivering successful projects ranging from small, unencumbered sites to large, complex mixed-use developments. BADC acquired the property in 2014.
