NaphCare Awarded New Contract to Provide Medical Services at the Washington County Jail in Hillsboro, OR
Birmingham, AL (PRWEB) June 01, 2015 -- The Washington County Jail is NaphCare’s first comprehensive healthcare services contract in the state of Oregon. The Company was selected as the most responsive and capable proposer by the Sheriff’s team after a competitive bid process.
Sheriff Pat Garrett commented on the selection of NaphCare as the provider, “We are eager to embark on this partnership with NaphCare. They are an organization that shares our commitment to value-driven service while providing progressive medical care within in our jail.”
As part of the agreement, NaphCare will implement its proprietary correctional electronic health record (EHR) system, TechCare®, which will be operational day one. TechCare® will optimize the Jail’s clinical documentation management to enhance security, create efficiencies and increase communication for both medical and security teams.
“We recognized early on the advantage of offering Washington County a greater diversity of medical services going forward,” said NaphCare’s CEO, James S. McLane. “By listening and customizing a health delivery program based on the specific needs of the Sheriff, we believe our Proactive Care Model will address the unique healthcare demands of Washington County Jail offenders.”
NaphCare’s proven practices offer outstanding community provider savings, sophisticated reporting and accountability, off-site management services, and transparency for its clients.
