As the director of business development, Rigby will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships and finding new opportunities in the Rocky Mountain region.

Mammoth Machinery and Supply (“Mammoth”) announced today that it has hired Kyle Rigby as the director of business development to join its management team. Mammoth, a heavy equipment rental company, located in North Salt Lake, Utah, has seen increasing demand for its equipment and continues to strengthen its management team with extensive experience in the equipment rental industry. Since Mammoth opened for business in January 2015, it has expanded from 23 pieces of heavy equipment to more than 50.

“The past six months have exceeded our expectations. Our customers are extremely pleased to find a rental company that offers high-quality, new and low-hour used equipment for rent,” said Ken Allen, Mammoth co-founder. “Many of our customers are choosing long-term rentals over purchasing to preserve capital for bonding and other project needs.”

Mammoth is currently developing plans to expand to Wyoming, Idaho and Nevada. “We needed another experienced leader from the equipment rental industry to help us growth intelligently,” says Shawn Bradley, Mammoth co-founder and former NBA player. “Kyle brings the equipment and sales experience we need at Mammoth. He is customer-focused, which aligns perfectly with our core principles. From day one, Kyle hit the ground running,” said Bradley.

Rigby spent the past 11 years in equipment sales and rentals at Wheeler Machinery and the previous 4 years selling for Masco Contractor Services. In addition to his 15 years of experience in the equipment and construction industry, Rigby has a bachelor’s degree in technical sales with an emphasis in construction management. “I am excited to be on the ground floor with Mammoth. They are an innovative company, focused on quality, customer service and growth,” said Rigby. As the director of business development, Rigby will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships and finding new opportunities in the Rocky Mountain region.
