AmpliVox’s Contemporary Lecterns feature clean, streamlined front panels rising from a stable contoured base. The lecterns are constructed of the highest-quality materials for durability, attractiveness, and mobility. The panel supports a spacious reading table of high-durability MDF, as well as a shelf for water or supplies. Its sturdy but lightweight construction makes it easy to move and position at a moment’s notice. Available in a range of colors with a choice of flat or curved profiles, these lecterns enhance virtually any contemporary setting. Satin-finish aluminum support posts in silver or black add dramatic accents to the built-in panels. The entire unit is shipped ready-to-use out of the box, with pre-installed wood panels and no assembly required.

For example, ABC affiliate WLS-TV recently ordered five custom-designed Contemporary Lecterns for a televised debate during the Chicago mayoral race. AmpliVox was able to supply the lecterns on an expedited basis, surpassing the customer’s expectations for quality and service.
All versions of the Contemporary Lectern are available in non-sound (SN), wired sound (SS), or wireless sound (SW) configurations. SS wired models include an integrated 50-watt amplifier, a Jensen design front speaker, and an attached unidirectional gooseneck microphone. The SW wireless model adds flexibility with a 16 channel UHF wireless receiver and a choice of wireless over-ear, handheld, or lapel and headset mics. Amplifiers can be powered by D-Cell batteries, an AC Adapter/Recharger cord, or a rechargeable NiCad battery pack (all sold separately). Whether the event is a large corporate meeting, a conference room training session, a hotel banquet, a religious service, or any other presentation, the Contemporary Lectern is a perfect fit.
