Two Nationally Acclaimed Mass Tort Firms (JTB Law Group, LLC & The Rheingold Law Firm) joined forces in May 2015 to investigate alleged incidents of Xarelto liver toxicity.

Two Titans in Mass Tort litigation have teamed up to investigate the alleged link between Xarelto and Liver Injuries. In May of 2015, The Rheingold Law Firm, also known as Rheingold, Valet, Rheingold, McCartney & Giuffra LLP, has joined forces with The JTB Law Group, LLC and created the site http://xareltoliverinjuries.com/ dedicated to investigating alleged Xarelto Injuries. Cases are presently being filed in the Eastern District of Louisiana, Docket Number MDL # 2592.

The two firms have collaborated in the past on a project involving injuries related to birth control products that were allegedly causing deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolisms, strokes and death. The Xarelto collaboration focuses on the link to potential liver toxicity that was discussed in a FDA study (fda.gov/downloads/Adviso...rugsAdvisoryCommittee/UCM143664.pdf).

Xarelto, also known as Rivaroxaban is a blood thinner from Jannsen pharmaceuticals that is used to treat atrial fibrillation, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, and is administered after hip or knee replacement. Besides investigating liver injuries, the firms are also representing plaintiffs and taking cases on behalf of individuals who allegedly have had bad bleeding events, like internal bleeding, gastrointestinal bleeding, hemorrhaging, such as a brain hemorrhage, strokes and death.

Paul Rheingold, literally authored the treatise on litigating mass torts and is a recognized authority on the subject. Jason T. Brown head of The JTB Law Group, LLC is a nationally acclaimed litigator receiving numerous awards and commendations over the years, including recent recognition as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer by The National Trial Lawyers and Top 10 Lawyer by NAOPIA, as well the highest ranking from Martindale Hubbell as a Peer Reviewed AV+ Preeminent.

The synergy between the two firms looks promising and individuals who have allegedly experienced any of the above listed injuries are encouraged to call their 24/7 hotline at (877) 561-0000.
