Wieboldt has joined the firm as a Geotechnical Department Manager and will lead the geotechnical design and construction-phase observation and testing operations in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. markets.

Wieboldt has joined the firm as a Geotechnical Department Manager and will lead the geotechnical design and construction-phase observation and testing operations in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. markets. Mr. Wieboldt’s hiring is a part of the firm’s strategy to advance the geotechnical service line across the mid-Atlantic region of the United States.

Prior to his role with Advantage, Mr. Wieboldt served as a Branch Manager for a national engineering firm located in Columbia, Maryland. While there, he provided senior oversight and management of the firm’s geotechnical and construction materials testing division. Mr. Wieboldt has over 16 years of experience and an extensive background in developing and executing geotechnical, construction observation and materials testing projects, as well as environmental assessments throughout the Baltimore, Maryland and Washington D.C. markets. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Resource Management with a minor in Environmental Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
