Today Netop, the worldwide leader in classroom management software, announced an update to its innovative Vision ME® iPad classroom workflow app. Designed with the needs of teachers and students in iPad classrooms in mind, Vision ME 1.3 features expanded sharing of file types, an improved student enrollment process, and increased foreign language support.

Teachers and students can now present, share and view file formats of all versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other common document and graphic files, including iWorks files and a variety of video formats. These new capabilities support blended learning and increase student engagement.

“In today’s evolving classrooms, it’s more important than ever to harness technology as a way to capture student attention, encourage interaction and improve learning outcomes,” said Kurt Bager, CEO of Netop. “With this update to Vision ME, we’ve made it easier than ever for teachers to share many different file types with students in real time. It’s an immediate way to engage students more deeply in classroom instruction."

The new version of Vision ME also offers an improved student enrollment process for teachers. With the Vision ME teacher app, they can quickly and easily invite new students to create accounts or join classes, or invite existing students to join a new class.

Vision ME also is now available in Japanese in addition to Spanish, French, Dutch, German, and English, supporting mixed language classrooms and allowing students to choose the language best for them.

The Vision ME system is made up of three components: a web-based system used to organize classes called the Learning Center; and the Vision ME teacher app and Vision ME student apps, which are available to download for free on the App Store. Pricing for Vision ME starts at $7.50 per user with volume discounts available. For a free 30-day trial of Vision ME, visit http://www.netop.com/visionme.
