Beach City Baseball Academy Receives 'Small Business of the Year' Award
El Segundo, CA (PRWEB) June 03, 2015 -- Beach City Baseball Academy (BCBA) is proud to announce that the California State Legislator will honor the school with a ‘Small Business of the Year’ award. State Senator Benjamin Allen nominated BCBA for their numerous community contributions including the Sixth Tool Scholarship Award, Special Needs clinic, and other programs, all in the interest of encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, and friendship through baseball.
“We're very honored to receive this award,” says BCBA manager Richard Murad, “All the programs we do allow us to share our passion--baseball--with everyone that passes through our doors.”
The Beach City Baseball Academy is one of 80 businesses honored out of 3.3 million businesses in the state of California. BCBA’s Director of Operations, Matt Watson will accept the award on behalf of the Beach City Baseball Academy in Sacramento on June 10th, CA Small Business Day.TM.
Watson added: “I see the positive impact our school has on kids as well as their families. It’s wonderful to see the BCBA recognized for the wonderful things we see on a daily basis.”
