SE2 helps local organizations contribute to a stronger Colorado through recent projects
Denver Colo. (PRWEB) June 02, 2015 -- SE2, an integrated communications agency focused on changing policy, opinion, and behavior, has had the privilege of helping six recent clients advance education, the economy, health and quality of life around Colorado.
“SE2 is honored that to have been selected to provide strategic communications support to help these impactful organizations move the meter on the issues that matter,” said SE2 President Susan Morrisey.
> Center for Urban Education
SE2 worked with the University of Northern Colorado Center for Urban Education, which offers a unique bachelor’s degree program to prepare students to be elementary, special education or early childhood teachers. SE2 conducted research to help the Center identify ways to grow its program and better support urban and diverse students.
> City of Lone Tree
As the City Of Lone Tree looked to celebrate its 20th year as a city, SE2 worked with city staff on a thorough communications audit to review its existing communications channels and offer recommendations as the city plans for the next 20 years. SE2 helped the City of Lone Tree identify ways to streamline its communications efforts and embrace innovative communications tactics.
> Colorado Shines
SE2 was selected to work with the Colorado Department of Human Services’ Office of Early Childhood to increase awareness for Colorado Shines, a new free resource to help connect families with quality child care and preschool programs. This two-year project aims to improve the quality of early learning programs and increase participation in those programs through the implementation of a comprehensive communications strategy, including paid, earned and owned media.
> Coalition to Simplify Colorado Sales Tax
Colorado’s overly complex sales- and use-tax system puts a heavy burden on the state’s businesses and overall economy. SE2 is working with the new Coalition to Simplify Colorado Sales Tax, which aims to make the system easier to navigate, without reducing overall revenues for public services. Its supporters include small businesses, major retailers, contractors and tax experts, among others. SE2’s activities will include coalition management, grassroots outreach and media relations.
> Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce
The Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation engaged SE2 to redesign its primary website, DenverLeadership.org. The new mobile-friendly platform was released at the 9News Civic Leadership Luncheon on March 19.
> Healthier Colorado
SE2 conducted media outreach on behalf of Healthier Colorado since the organization launched last fall as the state’s only health advocacy organization that focuses exclusively on direct policy change. As a result of this outreach, Healthier Colorado received more than 28 million media impressions. Media placements included coverage in The Denver Post, The Denver Business Journal, Pueblo Chieftain, Colorado Springs Business Journal, Montrose Daily Press and 9News.com.
