Greene, Tweed announces that it will be an exhibitor at ACHEMA 2015. ACHEMA, the world forum for chemical engineering and the process industry, will be held in Frankfurt, Germany from June 15-19.
Greene, Tweed has been part of the refining, petrochemical and power generation markets for over 25 years. Their technologies are proven to enhance reliability, improve safety and reduce cost of ownership of pumps, compressors, mechanical seals and valves.
At this year’s ACHEMA event, Greene, Tweed will showcase a variety of their latest solutions including elastomers, engineering thermoplastics and thermoplastic composite components. All of these advanced solutions support Greene, Tweed’s show theme for 2015, “The Power to Deliver”.
Greene, Tweed will showcase the following solutions:
Chemraz® Perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) Greene, Tweed’s O-rings and custom-design seals are produced from the best materials on the market. Chemraz perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) has the broadest chemical range of any elastomeric material and extends MTBR in harsh environments.
Xyfluor® Greene, Tweed’s Xyfluor is a fluorinated elastomer compound formulated to offer the best chemical compatibility in low-temp applications to -60°C / -76°F.
WR® and AR® Non-Metallic Wear Parts for Pumps Greene, Tweed’s non-metallic wear parts for pumps are made from thermoplastic composites (PEEK or PFA) that withstand the most severe conditions and extend service life.
Arlon® 4020 Non-Metallic Labyrinth Seals for Centrifugal Compressors Greene, Tweed recently announced the launch of the Center of Excellence at their Nottingham, UK facility. The Center is a 100% dedicated machining center for Greene, Tweed labyrinth seal production. With the launch of the Center of Excellence, Greene, Tweed customers can now get custom-engineered Arlon® 4020 Labyrinth Seals in a reduced lead time.
Arlon® 3000 XT Engineering Thermoplastic One of Greene, Tweed’s latest breakthroughs is Arlon 3000 XT, an engineering thermoplastic developed to withstand extreme conditions and temperatures above +300°C. Arlon 3000 XT’s expanded high-temperature performance makes it suitable for applications like ball valve seats, pump wear parts, centrifugal compressor labyrinth seals, fire safe valves, steam turbine seals, and gas turbine seals.
