Warriors NBA Finals Tickets: 2015 NBA Finals Feature the Golden State Warriors vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers
(PRWEB) June 01, 2015 -- Ticket Down announces that the Golden State Warriors defeated the Houston Rockets in the NBA Western Conference Finals and now will face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2015 NBA Finals which will be held at the Oracle Arena in Oakland and the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
Throughout the 2014-15 National Basketball Association season, the Golden State Warriors were the elite team that fans wanted to watch. They were a team that learned from their playoff failures from the year and riding the knowledge of first year coach Steve Kerr, advanced to the NBA Finals. The team will be looking for their first NBA Finals title since 1975. The team that will compete with the Warriors for the title will be a team that was hardly considered an elite team through 39 games. They were 19-20 and were proving to not have enough weapons, but a few trades changed things. The Cavaliers will be looking for their first ever title since entering the league in the 1970-71 season. The series will kick off on June 4 from the Oracle Arena.
This series is sure to be an exciting one featuring two of the best players in the world, reigning NBA Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry and former four-time league MVP LeBron James. This series marks the third time in the past four seasons that the MVP has competed for the title. Other things of note with this series is it marks the first time since the 1998 season that the Los Angeles Lakers, San Antonio Spurs or Miami Heat didn’t compete for the title and players like Tim Duncan, Kobe Bryant or Dwayne Wade were watching from home instead of playing.
Two players that will be competing for the chance to win the NBA Finals for the fifth straight season will be James and James Jones, who played together for the Heat during the previous four seasons. The Cavaliers finished second in the Eastern Conference behind the Atlanta Hawks, who they dismantled in the conference finals in four games to reach this series. The team also beat the Boston Celtics and Chicago Bulls to advance.
For the Warriors, it was a solid mix of Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Andre Iguodala, Andrew Bogut, and Harrison Barnes to reach the NBA Finals. They finished the regular season with the best record in the NBA and reached the finals after sweeping the New Orleans Pelicans and knocking off the Memphis Grizzlies in six games and Houston Rockets in five games.
The Oracle Arena is located in Oakland, CA and has been the site of home games for the Warriors since opening in 1966 with the exception of a few games. Throughout their existence, the fan base of the Warriors has proven to be as loyal as it comes and the venue will be packed with close to 20,000 fans hoping to see them win fourth championship. Home games for the Cavaliers will be held at The Q, otherwise known as the Quicken Loans Arena which can seat close to 21,000 fans. The venue has hosted another NBA Finals series before when James was in his first stint with the team out of high school.
