Associated Global Systems Congratulates Mike Hess As He Celebrates 45 Years with the Company.

Hess began his career with AGS in customer service, progressing through the ranks over the years to Assistant Terminal Manager, Terminal Manager, Regional Manager and Regional VP Service.
He now serves as the Vice President, Strategic Planning out of the Philadelphia station. He is responsible for agency/franchise development, the management of all the air and ground transportation and serves as the company's TSA security coordinator. “Mike’s industry knowledge, experience and wisdom has proven invaluable to AGS over the past 45 years”, says CEO Jim Tucci.
Hess has served on the AFA Board of Directors for the past 22 years and served as its Chairman in 1998. He has also held the positions of AFA President, VP, Secretary/Treasurer, and member-at-large along with being the chairs of the security, membership and carrier relations committees. As chair of the security committee Mike was often found in Washington representing the AFA membership interest with the TSA and FAA.
On a personal note, Hess has been the Mayor of his hometown of Brookhaven, PA for the past 6 years, and previously served on his town’s board of commissioners for 15 years as VP of Borough Council before being elected Mayor. Hess was born and raised in the Philadelphia area and has been married 47 years to his wife Jeanne and has 4 children and 7 grandchildren.
