The conceptClassifier platform is unique in that it identifies organizationally defined confidential or privacy information from within content. It includes the ability to identify content such as social security numbers, personally identifiable information, and protected health information. The product not only identifies standard descriptors, such as a social security numbers, but also any organizationally defined vocabulary that is unique to an organization. This functionality enables organizations to easily set up rules that will identify lapses in security in real time. Content can be consumed from a variety of sources including scanned or faxed documents, emails, websites, SharePoint, or indeed any repository. As exposures are identified they are automatically routed to a secure repository, to prevent unauthorized access and portability.
