Milton Hershey School Graduate Joins Brother at Penn State College of Medicine
HERSHEY, Pa. (PRWEB) June 02, 2015 -- Milton Hershey School® graduate Vincent Klomps ’10 recently was honored as one of the 30 members of the Physician Assistant Program’s entering class of 2015 at Penn State College of Medicine. He was presented with a white coat, which symbolizes his entrance into the medical field.
“We are extremely proud of Vincent’s accomplishments both at MHS and postgraduation,” said President Pete Gurt ’85. “He is a great example of how a top-notch education can lead to achievement beyond expectation.”
Klomps enrolled at Milton Hershey School along with his brother Larry Klomps ’08. He now joins his brother Larry who is already a third year medical student at the college of medicine.
“My brother and I are so fortunate for the education we received at Milton Hershey School,” said Vincent. “It is because of Mr. and Mrs. Hershey’s philanthropic endeavors that we came from nothing and were given a solid education and the life skills to experience the concept of the ‘American Dream.’”
Klomps graduated from Lehigh University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in behavioral neuroscience and public health.
“I have been blessed beyond belief to meet the right people in life and so fortunate for institutions such as Milton Hershey School and Lehigh University,” said Klomps.
Klomps begins his training immediately. Learn more about Milton Hershey School at mhskids.org.
