ADLINK demonstration highlights include:

  • ExTreme Outdoor Server – Our outdoor rugged server is the first high performance mobile edge computing (MEC) platform specifically designed for extreme environments in outdoor telecom applications. Powered by Intel® Xeon® processors, the MEC platform delivers data center performance at the edge of the network. The ETOS-1000 provides IT and cloud-computing capabilities within the Radio Access Network (RAN) in close proximity to mobile subscribers. This offers a service environment characterized by proximity, ultra-low latency, and high-bandwidth that allows content, services, and applications to be accelerated, maintaining a customer’s high-level Quality of Experience (QoE).

Our live demonstration will feature platform enhancements from our ecosystem partners, including virtualized radio access network (vRAN) solution for small cell/backhaul deployments from Tieto Corporation and network security applications enabling capabilities such as virtual machine isolation and segmentation, perimeter and hypervisor protection, and per-user security profiles from Clavister.

  • CSA-5200 Network Security Appliance – The CSA-5200 is a 1U/2U rackmount network appliance with 4th generation Intel® Xeon® processor E3-1200 v3 and C226 Chipset. The CSA-5200 Series supports ADLINK's networking software package, PacketManager, which is ideal for use in unified threat management (UTM), next-generation firewall (NGFW), deep packet inspection (DPI) and other network security applications.
