Summer in the Village: Destination Kohler Hosts a Five-Star Sampler of Seasonal Favorites with Tastes, Sounds and Celebrations of Summertime

Summer Demonstration Kitchen Series
For the first time, Destination Kohler hosts a Summer Demonstration Kitchen Series featuring seasonal-themed recipes and beverage pairings suited for al fresco dining and entertaining. The series features six sessions with culinary topics ranging from grilling and barbequing to salsas and ceviches, presented by the restaurant chefs of Destination Kohler. Each session is hosted at The Shops at Woodlake’s Demonstration Kitchen – a working kitchen that provides an intimate, informal setting – bringing together professional chefs and enthusiastic foodies for presentations, preparation and tasting. Sessions are scheduled on Saturdays from June 6 to July 18 (excluding July 4) with one-hour presentations at 11am and 2pm. Sounds of Summer – A Boutique Concert Series
Music will fill the air along the shore of Wood Lake during the Sounds of Summer – A Boutique Concert Series. Every Sunday, June 7 through August 23, from 1-3pm, shoppers and travelers alike will enjoy a fresh, exciting act performing on the open air Waterfront Rotunda at The Shops at Woodlake Kohler located near Cucina Italian Restaurant. Bands featured during the inaugural year include: Bobby Way Duo, Xeno Duo, Ed Franks, Cris Koszuta, Kevin Kennedy, Rana Roman Trio, Blue Light Scene, Ain’t Misbehavin Trio, Joey Lavie, Jenny Thiel Duo, Hat Trick, and Doubletime Duo. All concerts are complimentary and open to the public. Concessions available for purchase.
Kohler Waters Spa Seasonal Summer Services
The Kohler Waters Spa Seasonal Summer Services – Golfer’s Massage and Coconut Bliss Pedicure – are offered July 1 through September 30, 2015, in addition to the full treatment menu of the latest therapeutic water treatments and results-oriented facial and body treatments. The 50-minute Golfer’s Massage ($155/$180 Saturdays) is a deeply restorative treatment designed specifically for the golfer, combining stretching and deep tissue massage to relieve sore or tight muscles and increase your flexibility. The 50-minute Coconut Bliss Pedicure ($90) is a mini tropical vacation featuring a hydrating fizzy ball soak, sugar scrub exfoliation, and a shea butter foot massage with tropical scents of toasted coconut, lime and sandalwood.
