Brenau University Selects AGT to Lead Mondopad Implementation Across Multiple Campuses

All-in-One Mondopad Device Combines Video Conferencing, Content Sharing and Touchscreen Technology

Applied Global Technologies (AGT), a proven provider of managed and visual collaboration solutions, today announces its selection as the lead audio visual integrator for a multi-campus InFocus Mondopad implementation at Brenau University, a private education institution with eight locations throughout Georgia and Florida. The InFocus Mondopad enables educators and students to present, annotate and collaborate on a large-format touchscreen display, which includes a Windows PC and built-in collaboration applications for video calling, digital white boarding and Internet browsing. Brenau University selected AGT for overall project management, installation and programming of nearly 60 Mondopads to maximize the school’s instructional resources.

Upon receiving a $1.5 million grant to upgrade the institution’s IT infrastructure, Brenau University settled on Mondopad to meet their needs for an all-inclusive device that would allow them to collaborate with students on campus and remote. AGT was chosen to support the implementation of nearly 60 Mondopads across multiple campuses and departments, and began the project by identifying Brenau’s overall goals, objectives and budget. AGT managed the project by bringing in dozens of Mondopads in-house and handled Mondopad firmware updates, Mondopad software updates, Windows updates and configured the basic preferences settings requested by Brenau’s IT Department. AGT also managed the design process, which incorporated Mondopads on carts, wall-mounted Mondopads with external amplifiers and ceiling speakers, and Mondopads integrated into existing audio visual systems. As a result of standardizing on Mondopads and working with AGT, Brenau has greatly improved their educational capabilities and has closed the gap in their online and remote learning environment.
