NEW YORK (PRWEB) June 03, 2015
International law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP received the “Most Inclusive Firm for Minority Women Lawyers” award during the 2015 Chambers USA Women in Law Awards ceremony June 2. These awards honor firms as well as women attorneys for their outstanding contributions to furthering the advancement of women in the law. Winners were selected based on their work and commitment to gender equality, mentoring, and public service.
“We embrace inclusivity at every level at Greenberg Traurig because we know that by uplifting each other and working together we can provide better service to our clients,” said Shareholder Patricia Menéndez-Cambó, chair of the Global Corporate & Securities Practice. “In a world that celebrates people’s differences and recognizes the importance of diversity, we are proud to be recognized as the Most Inclusive Firm for Minority Women Lawyers by Chambers USA.”
“From its inception, Greenberg Traurig has been a law firm dedicated to the advancement of women attorneys, and we are truly honored to be recognized for our efforts with the 2015 Most Inclusive Firm for Minority Women Lawyers award from Chambers USA,” said Shareholder Martha A. Sabol, co-chair of the firm’s Women’s Initiative and co-chair of the firm’s Gaming Practice. “With 1,800 attorneys worldwide, we are a firm that knows that one size does not fit all. Supporting diversity efforts is critical to our success because it uplifts attorneys who then in turn provide better service to our clients.”
