Greenberg Traurig’s John Buttita to Moderate Philanthropist’s Perspective Seminar

Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago Foundation’s Philanthropist’s Perspective Seminar June 9, 2015, at the Chicago Club in Chicago. Third in a series, the seminar will be hosted in conjunction with the foundation’s Legacy Partners Initiative Executive Committee.
During the seminar, philanthropists Ann Lurie and Stanley Manne will present their perspectives on personal and family philanthropy and the role that professional advisors play for them regarding charitable planning and decision making.
Buttita is a member of Greenberg Traurig’s Trust & Estates Practice and focuses his practice on tax matters, including trust and closely held business and partnership planning, and estate matters. He represents entrepreneurs, private investors, and executives of public companies and their families and is experienced counseling clients regarding charitable gift arrangements, family business and investment succession issues, private foundation matters, and pre-liquidation event strategies. Buttita is a board member of the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago Foundation’s Board of Directors and serves as chair of the foundation’s Professional Advisor Council.
