Autonet Charity Event Is Set To Score A Bullseye
(PRWEB UK) 5 June 2015 -- Autonet Insurance is hosting a charity darts evening in aid of the Donna-Louise Trust on the 14th August at the Moat House, Stoke. This event is the first of its kind for Autonet and the Staffordshire based firm are excited to be hosting this stand-out event.
In 2014 alone, Autonet donated over £23k to help charitable causes both nationally and locally through numerous fundraising activities. All of their fundraising is done through The Autonet Charity Committee which was set up after staff and directors wanted to give back to the local community. Since the Autonet Charity Committee first began in 2010 over £80,000 has been raised to charities locally and nationally.
Managing Director, Ian Donaldson said about the forthcoming event: "The Donna-Louise Trust are a local charity who provide essential support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families and we have supported their cause for a number of years. As we are official sponsors of professional darts player Andy Hamilton, it made sense for us to combine the two together and hold this fantastic evening for the hospice."
The event itself will star professional darts players Andy ‘The Hammer’ Hamilton and five times world champion Eric Bristow, and attendees will have the chance to play with these sporting legends. The evening will be compered by sporting commentator John Gywnne and guests will enjoy a fun filled evening consisting of a 3 course meal, the exhibition match along with a charity raffle and a disco until late.
A spokesperson for the Donna-Louise Trust, Chelsey Farmer said: “As we are the Official Charity Partner of the Professional Darts Corporation, we are delighted to hear that Autonet will be hosting their very own charity Darts Event in August in aid of our hospice. After all, Stoke-on-Trent is the home of darts and we hope that Darts events such as these can continue and what better way than through local businesses. Together we can BRING DARTS HOME for the Donna Louise Children’s Hospice!”
