DrumUp, a social media content curation and management application, launched the Android app, bringing social media management to mobile. The DrumUp web app has been gaining steady popularity, with more than 75,000 posts scheduled monthly from the app for Facebook and Twitter pages. The DrumUp Android app, with its intuitive and simple design aims to add to this momentum and make social media content management a breeze for its users.
The mobile app’s users will be able to browse through suggested content and schedule posts at any time and from anywhere. The mobility is a big advantage for busy professionals and social media managers, as they can use an extended part of their time tracking the latest news and content from their industry, and keeping the social pages active at the same time.
The DrumUp Android app has all the features of its web counterpart. Users can easily manage multiple Facebook and Twitter accounts on the app's user-friendly interface, and schedule posts at specific times of the day. Similar to the web application, the mobile app also provides the option of connecting a blog RSS feed to Twitter and Facebook pages.
“We are very excited to announce the launch of the DrumUp Android app. We believe the app will offer increased convenience to our users and allow them a seamless social media presence management experience. Mobile is a big opportunity for business apps to improve time utilization and get more things done conveniently and faster. We want to increasingly focus on our mobile offerings and strategy as we think that’s the future of social business apps.”, commented Sophia Solanki, co-founder of DrumUp.
Besides the launch of the mobile app, the DrumUp team has constantly been refining its content discovery algorithm to offer even better content recommendations. The content discovery engine now learns from user interactions on the app to personalize content suggestions, and gives better recommendations by understanding topical context, in contrast to only keyword searches that most existing content discovery tools rely on.
Since its initial launch in January 2015, DrumUp has taken long strides, striving to bring better service to its users. The DrumUp team is now working on an iOS app along with several new app features, which will allow users to do more and offer increased convenience.
DrumUp Android and web apps are currently offered free of charge. The Android app can be downloaded at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.drumup.drumup
