Location, Inc. reported today that Cap Index’s lawsuit against Location, Inc. - a rival crime risk data provider - has been dismissed with prejudice in the federal district court of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. The suit was brought by Cap Index against Location, Inc. in July of 2013 (Civil Action No. 13-cv-04225-CDJ).
“The suit has been completely dismissed. The terms of the settlement are confidential, but we felt strong about our legal position from the beginning and are very satisfied with the outcome,” said Andrew Schiller, CEO of Worcester, Mass-based Location, Inc. “We are glad that this suit is behind us so that we can continue competing in the marketplace, and offering businesses a choice in products."
