Vysk Communications Awarded Top 100 North America by Red Herring

“The Top 100 North America award is a testament to Vysk Communications’ commitment to deliver an evolutionary mobile security solution that fits seamlessly into the lives of users,” said Victor Cocchia, CEO and Co-founder of Vysk Communications.

On Wednesday, June 3, 2015, San Antonio based Vysk Communications was named Red Herring Top 100 North America winner by the editorial team of Red Herring, a prestigious technology and innovation publication. Winners are selected from approximately 1,200 privately financed tech companies in the US and Canada each year. Red Herring is a media company that publishes an innovation magazine, an online daily technology news service, technology newsletters and hosts international conferences and events for technology leaders.

“The Top 100 North America award is a testament to Vysk Communications’ commitment to deliver an evolutionary mobile security solution that fits seamlessly into the lives of users,” said Victor Cocchia, CEO and Co-founder of Vysk Communications. “More and more people in the business, government, and consumer communities are recognizing the value of our products. Our innovative solutions are unique to the market and combine both hardware and software. Vysk technology is disrupting the communications industry with our truly private hardware voice communications, end-to-end encrypted text messaging, and an encrypted vault for your photos.”

“In 2015, selecting the top achievers was by no means a small feat,” said Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO of Red Herring. “In fact, we had the toughest time in years because so many entrepreneurs had crossed significant milestones so early. But after much thought, rigorous contemplation and discussion, we narrowed our list down from hundreds of candidates from across North America to the North America winners. We believe Vysk Communications embodies the vision, drive and innovation that define a successful entrepreneurial venture. Vysk Communications should be proud of its accomplishment, as the competition was very strong.”

This award comes just months after Vysk was named a two-time Innovation Honoree by the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), CTIA “Best in Show” for Security by Tom’s Guide, and Inc. Magazine’s #1 “New Gadget That Will Change the Way You Work.” As Vysk Communications continues to introduce its products, it is clear the mobile security industry is taking notice. And with the release of the much-anticipated QS1 privacy case, Vysk will be on the forefront of encrypting and protecting your communication.

“Vysk Communications fully understands that threats don’t discriminate - hackers don't care who you are or where you are. Everyone is a target,” added Cocchia. “And at Vysk Communications, it is our mission to guard both your mobile device as well as the personal information stored on your mobile device.”
