In this information age of ever-growing content, our government customers rely on innovative solutions like the CI Platform to identify and explore new insights from existing data.
Manassas, VA (PRWEB) June 10, 2015
H3 Solutions today announced plans to make their Contextual Intelligence (CI) Platform available to U.S. government agencies through Microsoft Azure Government, which is part of the Microsoft Cloud for Government. The CI platform marries machine intelligence and big data to Microsoft Office, putting data to work in ways not previously possible.
This unprecedented offering will provide agencies the ability to process their scores of data within tools that their employees and contractors use every day, such as Word and PowerPoint. Similar to recommendations individuals receive when shopping online, the CI Platform provides content suggestions based on relationships found in backend data and the content users are working on.
“Our Contextual Intelligence Platform is poised to provide a new, untapped value to agencies through their content.” Said Joe Herres, Executive Vice President of H3 Solutions, “Azure Government provides us the means to scale and support these customers without huge internal IT impacts.”
As a live sample of how the CI platform works for end users, H3 has released a free add-in for Word and PowerPoint in the Office store. Downloadable at https://store.office.com/contextual-intelligence-WA104379424.aspx, users can explore the contents of their documents and presentations through Bing News, Wikipedia and Twitter. These public web services serve as a demonstration of the possible connections that can be made to help agencies author better content.
“In this information age of ever-growing content, our government customers rely on innovative solutions like the CI Platform to identify and explore new insights from existing data,” said Vince Menzione, General Manager of U.S. Public Sector Partners at Microsoft Corp. “H3 Solutions is a partner that is able to deliver this offering to help government agencies find more value in the data they already have.”
The Microsoft Cloud for Government is a specially designed platform, built to serve U.S. government agencies. Customer data, applications and hardware reside in the continental United States (CONUS) in specially constructed datacenters. The datacenters are physically isolated from Azure commercial services and geographically distributed more than 500 miles apart to support business continuity scenarios.
