"AIC has shipped thousands of these solutions to data centers outside of the Americas, but this will be the first time for the company to publicly announce them in the U.S.," said CT Sun, AIC's Chief Architect.

AIC will be offering a static demo of its server, storage and smart rack solutions at the 16th Cloud Expo at the Javits Center in New York City, NY from June 9 to June 11. The Cloud Expo is co-located with the Internet of @ThingsExpo, the Big Data Expo and the DevOps Summit.

While the advent of cloud computing has brought a great deal of convenience to end users, it’s not so easy to manage data centers, given the speed and agility requirements involved in keeping them up and running 24/7. With that in mind, AIC’s smart rack solutions are designed to make it easier for data center operators to manage the maximum amount of servers with the least amount of effort.

The team at AIC develops and sets up customized Smart Rack solutions for customers, giving data center operators the flexibility and scalability they need. For example, with its Intelligent Management Controller, you can remove, add and adjust the settings of parts without having to first power down the rack.

Benefits of the Smart Rack solutions include a lower TCO (total cost of ownership) and the ability to rapidly deploy the equipment and then allow for remote control access. For data center owners’ convenience, these smart racks feature centralized upgradeability so you can get back to work faster after making system updates.

Here's a list of what sets AIC's smart rack solutions apart from the competition:

1. Higher density than any OCP solution
2. Better thermal solution
3. Higher reliability on management
4. Purpose-built for data centers
5. Better power efficiency

AIC will also demonstrate a variety of server and storage products. For example, its J2024-01 and J4076-01 are 12G SAS JBOD and provide servers with expanded storage capability. Expo participants will also get a chance to see AIC’s RSC-1C, RSC-15 and RSC-3M object storage server chassis solutions, as well as its new high-availability storage server product, the HA201-TP.

The Cloud Expo in New York presents an opportunity for AIC to showcase its new offerings to data center operators in the United States. “AIC has shipped thousands of these solutions to data centers outside of the Americas, but this will be the first time for the company to publicly announce them in the U.S.,” said CT Sun, AIC’s Chief Architect.

Data center owners and operators and members of the press are invited to see AIC’s static demo at Cloud Expo Booth 237.
