The Bergand Group Harford County Now Offers Daytime and Evening Intensive Outpatient Programs
Bel Air, MD (PRWEB) June 11, 2015 -- The Bergand Group's Harford County office offers new daytime and evening sessions to better serve their clients and to provide the support and structure needed for ongoing recovery. Due to the outstanding feedback they have received from the community, The Bergand Group has expanded their Intensive Outpatient Program to include their daytime sessions.
The Bergand Group's Bel Air, MD, alcohol and drug treatment practice now offers:
Intensive Outpatient Treatment
Evening Program:
Monday through Thursday from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM
Daytime Program:
Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Phase II Group (Continuing Care Outpatient Treatment)
Phase II Groups are recommended for clients who accept that they have an addictive disorder diagnosis and who are willing to work on recovery from addiction as well as other related issues in these groups. Phase II groups also serve as a step down from Intensive Outpatient treatment and are designed to help maintain contact and structure. The Bergand Group's Phase II program is conducted as follows:
Friday 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
A portion of their intensive group sessions are led by one of their Board Certified Addiction Medicine Specialists who have over 25 years of experience in Addiction Medicine and Psychiatry. At the Bergand Group, all initial assessments and evaluations are conducted by the group's Board-certified medical professionals, a unique feature for substance abuse providers in the area which provides clients with confidence that they are receiving the highest possible level of care. Outpatient detox and medication management is also provided by the on-site medical staff.
In addition to intensive outpatient services, The Bergand Group provides weekly aftercare programs, individual counseling and psychotherapy, family therapy, and anger management courses. The Bergand Group also offers a variety of DUI/DWI education programs, including a 12-hour intensive experience for first-time offenders, which is held every week for two hours over the course of six weeks, and a weekly one-hour program for those who need additional support and counseling for 26 to 52 weeks.
The Bergand Group looks forward to hearing from potential clients regarding any questions about their new and current programs. Visit their website at http://www.bergandgroup.com, or call 410-853-7691, for more information.
