Hillsdale, MI (PRWEB) June 09, 2015
The Tony Open is the longest-running continuous golf fundraiser for the American Cancer Society in the United States. This meaningful event has raised over $2.5 Million in 39 years. The recently held 2015 event, at The Country Club of Jackson, MI, was a huge success and 2016 will undoubtedly be a record-setting year.
In recent years, The Tony Open expanded their list of beneficiaries to include The Gayle M. Jacob Cancer Center at Allegiance Health, in addition to continuing as a significant contributor to the American Cancer Society through annual gifts to the Jackson Relay for Life and to Mott Children’s Hospital at the University of Michigan.
The 2016 event will include participation and a speaking appearance by PGA Professional golfer, and cancer survivor, Paul Azinger. The date for next year’s event is set for June 6th, 2016.
