Jeff Fishman, United Cinema Group (UCG) and ‘Auto X’ announce the start of the 2015 Warrior Cobra Drive benefiting Special Operations Warrior Foundation along with the Semper Fi Fund to raise awareness and support for these special charitable organizations assisting Veterans and their families on Monday June 15, 2015 from Cavallo’s Motor Sports, located at 6010 Avenida Encinas, Carlsbad, California 92011, near the Camp Pendleton Marine Base.
In support of these very special organizations, United Cinema Group is producing an Episodic Social Media Series documenting the Warrior Cobra Drive to raise awareness of and find donations for Special Operations Warrior Foundation along with the Semper Fi Fund. This 20‐day road rally drive begins Monday June 15, 2015 from Carlsbad, California near Camp Pendleton, California and travels to Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, stopping along the way for as many as 20 Fund Raising Events, Press Conferences and a show of local support. United Cinema Group Executive Producer Jeff Fishman remarks, “We consider it an honor and our responsibility to be able to support both the Special Operations Warrior Foundation and the Semper Fi Fund as their work has a direct and immediate positive impact upon the families of those who have given their last full measure to protect us.” Fishman went on to comment, “Providing security for their families, as they once protected ours, is the moral obligation of all Americans and may be the best way to thank our Heroes.” On June 15, 2015, a Back Draft Shelby Cobra will be driven by Richard Rutherford and his son from Carlsbad, near Camp Pendleton and arrive at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina on the 4th of July. The Warrior Cobra will be driven across America to raise awareness and donations for these charities at Press Conference Events where support can be shown via Instagram / social media provided at each Event. A donation is encouraged but not mandatory. Supporters are encouraged to sign a large Poster‐sized 'Thank You Card' at each Event; that will be presented to the troops at Camp Lejeune during a 4th of July Event for the Troops.
