Harkcon Wins Contract with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)

Fredericksburg, VA (PRWEB) June 15, 2015 -- Harkcon recently won a new 6-month contract to support CBP’s Facilities Management and Engineering (FM&E) Directorate responsible for providing full lifecycle real property and infrastructure management support and services to all CBP Offices. Some of these FM&E services include:

  • Real estate acquisition, construction/leasing management, and facilities management for all CBP occupied space including U.S. Ports of Entry, Border Patrol Stations and Sector Headquarters, Border Patrol Checkpoints, Remote Operating Bases, Air and Marine Operations Facilities, Laboratories, Employee Housing, Special Use Space and General Purpose Office Space;
  • Tactical infrastructure on the Border including fences, barriers, patrol roads, bridges, lighting, and drainage structures;
  • Border tunnel remediation;
  • Environmental planning, compliance and pollution prevention; and
  • Energy conservation.

Harkcon will be conducting a workload requirements review towards supporting FM&E’s 5-year vision to optimize the level and types of services provided to its business partners, and to have the optimal level of personnel required for an agile response to changing mission needs and programs.
