Makeup Gourmet and author Chris Scott’s new highly visual book Face with a Heart: Mastering Authentic Beauty Makeup immediately became an Amazon best seller in three major categories after its official launch June 2.

After only 24 hours, Face with a Heart was listed as the number one best seller in all three major categories allowed for listing on Amazon in the United States. Overseas, including Germany, United Kingdom and Canada, Face with a Heart ranked in the top 10 to make the book an official International Best Seller.

Face with a Heart's immediate success validates years of hard work by Mr. Scott, both as a best-selling author and in growing Makeup Gourmet into an online makeup sales leader.

Mr. Scott said: "I am very humbled that Face with a Heart has become an instant international best seller as it makes all the hard work worth it. I was tracking launch sales when we hit number three then I took a short break. When I looked back I could hear my publicist screaming over Skype that we were at number one.

According to Mr. Scott, Face with a Heart represents a legacy book for himself and the Makeup Gourmet brand.
