D.H. Seiler, a retired local union president as well as a retired Radiologic Technologist, has completed his new book “Reprehensible Conduct”: a gripping and potent work of fiction, full of excitement and scandal.
When asked about his inspiration for the book, Seiler stated “My book is about the life experiences inside a modern day union. I was lucky enough to be a local union president for nearly 20 years. In the book there are many of the things I witnessed; both illegal and unethical, as well as many good heart warming experiences. I wanted to tell everyone a little bit of the inner life of a high ranking union staff. The book is fictitious, with a fictitious union and fictitious characters but some of the actions truly happened. Which ones I will not say.”
Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, D.H. Seiler’s poignant tale is both provocative and informative. This story provides an excellent view into the world of unions, and some of the corruption that can take place within them.
When the International Trucker’s Union (ITU) has been on strike for over a year, “Sean Irish” MacSween, a loyal and dedicated union representative, knew there was something terribly wrong. There was more trouble than ITU President Joseph Pinata was letting on to the union executive board and he had to find out what.
After Irish MacSween’s union colleagues were involved in a brutal attack and murdered, he found himself working with the FBI’s unconventional and audacious head of organized crime, Jack Casey. Together, with a few of his trusted union bargaining team members, they investigate the possible ITU’s president and executive board members involvement in possible tax evasion, embezzlement of union funds, fraud, extortion, drug trafficking, prostitution and other seedy deeds.
Readers who wish to experience this exciting work can purchase“Reprehensible Conduct” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
