Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and its brand, Square D™, is partnering with Electrical Construction & Maintenance (EC&M) to provide electrical contractors with resources and information to help them increase efficiency and grow their businesses.

The EC&M partnership equips Square D with the platform to reach electrical contractors of all demographics, from the transitioning traditionalist to the tech savvy millennial through a dedicated webpage. “Technology and Tools” displays a diverse set of content including current technology, future trends like 3D Printing and digital tools that affect the industry. Square D is proud to share thought leadership and contribute to EC&M, an educational resource that the brand highly values.

“EC&M has done an excellent job of educating the marketplace about not only new products and trends, but changes to the business model and how processes can be improved,” Aamir Paul, Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Schneider Electric, said. “Technology and Tools help us focus on the question ‘is there a better way to do this?’”

As the evolution to mobile continues, on-the-go technology will be featured as a hot topic on the webpage. Square D will tailor topics based on electrical contractor feedback. One aspect of that will be Square D’s PROficient software, a suite of free digital tools that allows contractors to track orders, have direct access to experts, download resources and start the quotation process to share with distributors. The goal of the articles is to make electrical contractors’ lives more efficient and simplified.
Electrical contractors are also embracing the latest project management, electrical systems design or building information modeling and updates to the National Electrical Code (NEC). Technological know-how is even more essential for the future and the channel will include training and education content to support electrical contractors in an ever-changing industry.

“We thought EC&M and our support for electrical contractors made for a great partnership,” said Paul.

Square D values relationships that support electrical contractors on and off the job with fast and easy access to the products, resources and information when and where they need it.
