Partstock has been a North American leader in education and government technology solutions since 1994.

Xchange Technology Group, a global leader in information technology, has announced that its education-focused business unit, Partstock Computer, is being rolled into BlueRange Technology, the company’s full-service IT provider and reseller. This transition is being made in direct response to a rapidly evolving education technology marketplace, allowing the company to expand its breadth of products and services – from new and recertified desktops to extensive Chromebook solutions and more.

BlueRange Technology maintains strong relationships with the world’s leading hardware and software manufacturers – including Lenovo, HP, Dell, Acer and Microsoft – providing customers with the latest technology at a price that fits within their budgets.

“The information technology needs of school districts have evolved dramatically over the past several years, and we have seen this evolution increase at an unprecedented pace in recent months,” said Alan Rupp, CEO, Xchange Technology Group. “Combining these organizations will leverage the recertification expertise of Partstock with the strong OEM relationships we have in BlueRange Technology. This transition will provide even more flexibility for our customers. Our 20-plus-year history in the education marketplace, coupled with the full range of hardware and software options and the unmatched relationships with manufacturers offered by BlueRange Technology, will only strengthen our ability to service our customers.”

The transition of Partstock into BlueRange is immediate, and will not result in job reduction or lapse in service.

“Partstock has been a North American leader in education and government technology solutions since 1994, and we will continue to draw upon this experience to meet the needs of our education customers,” said Rupp. “We are committed to this important marketplace and are confident that BlueRange Technology will continue to be the right choice for schools and districts of all sizes.”
