Brightway Insurance Celebrates Two Growth Milestones

As Brightway Insurance nears its 8th anniversary in business, Brightway has achieved two growth milestones, the company announced.

Brightway, in business since 2008, is the nation’s seventh largest Personal Lines independent agency retailer selling through a network of franchised independent agencies throughout the country.

As of June 1, the company has sold 250,000 policies and one of its agencies has now written more than 10,000 policies.

Chairman and Founder David Miller said: “We’ve come a long way from 3 people and about 2,000 policies when we started. Today there are 680 people in the Brightway system in 117 offices in 10 states and in the Jacksonville headquarters. From the start, we built the business ensuring everything we did would be a win for our employees, a win for our agents and a win for our customers. That philosophy has served all of our stakeholders well and, while we’re thrilled with our results so far, we’ve only just begun.”

The 250,000 policies were purchased through Brightway agencies since 2008. All Brightway customers enjoy the local, expert counsel their agent provides, along with the broadest possible choice of insurance companies. Brightway customers also enjoy expert service provided by a centralized Service Center. Miller said, “The Brightway system lets our agents focus on selling while our Service Center fulfills all back office functions, meeting customers’ day-to-day service needs.”

Brightway’s Ponte Vedra, Fla. Office, owned by Territory Owner and Agency Owner Billy Wagner, is the first in the Brightway family to hit the 10,000 policy milestone. Opened in 2008, Wagner’s office also boasts a Brightway Million Dollar Producer, Chris Huebener.
