Ron Szatmary Joins Victory Energy as Director of Administration

Victory Energy announces the hiring of Ron Szatmary as director of administration. Ron’s initial role involves overseeing and managing plant expansion of the Collinsville operation.

Szatmary has extensive experience with both the Department of Defense and the Department of Energy where he held several diverse management roles with oversight for finance, human resources and environmental, safety and health. Most recently, he worked with Southwestern Power in various capacities.

“The expansion of our Collinsville facility comes at a critical time for the company as customers look to Victory Energy to handle larger and more complex boiler projects. Ron is the right person to lead this effort. His background in managing projects at the DOD and DOE is well matched to what is required to bring this expansion in on time and on budget,” stated John Viskup, President and CEO.

Szatmary’s project management acumen will be put to use across several different future initiatives. “Having worked for the federal government managing complex multi-million dollar projects helps me better understand the dynamics of expansion efforts and how to deliver it on time and on budget. I’ll put this experience to work with the Victory Energy plant expansion,” remarked Szatmary.
