A walk through the caulking aisle at your local hardware store will often be confusing and bland. Bins full of caulking cartridges that all look the same overwhelm and frustrate DIYers every day. Sashco, Inc. is on a mission to change that, and was honored to receive recognition of these efforts through the 2015 North American Retail Hardware Association (NRHA) packaging and merchandising awards. Sashco’s Through the Roof!® quart container received a Silver Packaging Award, and the Fully Loaded Retail Partner (FLRP) merchandising system received an Honorable Mention. All winners were recognized at the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas, NV, where the submissions were on display for all in attendance.
Judges praised Through the Roof’s “bold type” that was “easy to read,” along with the fact that the “message is clear on what it does.” The FLRP merchandising system was hailed for its bright, attention-grabbing colors that differentiate the products, as well as the helpful signage and hands-on tools that make in-store purchases easy.
