NexGen Networks Works with iAdvantage to Build a Hong Kong Point of Presence in their World-class Hong Kong data center to help NexGen maintain top tier service as it expands its global reach NexGen Networks, a leading global provider of ultra high-speed fiber-optic services with a distinctive customer service approach, has teamed with iAdvantage, a leading data center solution provider in Hong Kong, to build its Hong Kong point of presence (POP) in the 30-story, 350,000 sq. ft. MEGA-iAdvantage facility—one of the largest Tier 3+ Internet Service Center buildings in the world.

“NexGen Networks is committed to providing the absolute highest quality of service as we extend and solidify our global reach,” says NexGen’s Jeffrey Barth. “With our Hong Kong point of presence, our clients can continue to expect nothing less, because iAdvantage is an industry leader and one of the largest and most highly regarded data center solution providers in the region. We shall be able to leverage iAdvantage highly flexible and available infrastructure with 100% fail-safe operations to support the continued growth of our point of presence in Hong Kong.”

Within its vast interior, the aptly named MEGA-iAdvantage facility offers tremendous flexibility and state-of-the-art infrastructure. Customers can specify their power and deployment needs. With over 100 global and Chinese carriers connected by nine submarine cable systems from all over the world, they can also select their preferred network service providers. Stringent security measures as well as UPS and generator backup to 2N redundancy provide additional peace of mind.

NexGen’s presence in this leading facility represents the latest in a series of expansions and enhancements that have enabled its clients to leverage the most advanced and reliable infrastructure in any region within its footprint. The move strongly complements NexGen’s recent addition of capacity on the Transit Europe-Asia (TEA) terrestrial cable network, which completed a proprietary global circuit that boasts the lowest possible latency for connections between Asia and Europe.
