In 2012, Patrick Achebe realized that the gift of poetry was fully in him, as beautiful phrases riddled his mind when he was alone. He sat down to write his first poem, and three years later he was publishing an entire book of poetry. He knew there was something inside of him that was special and worth sharing with the world. "I have always believed that the best way to lift yourself up, is in the effort of lifting others up," Achebe commented.
